Last, but certainly not least is our dear ol’ friend, Nutella. Yes, he had to be included. I cannot handle chocolate in the morning unless it is in small doses hence the little baby parfait with mostly granola. I was thinking that if Biscoff got to be included in a yogurt parfait that Nutella had to be included too. Don’t you think that’s only fair?

Everyone seemed to really love the chocolate. I guess I’m just a lighter, fruity person versus chocolate. But, seriously, this Chocolate Hazelnut Yogurt Parfait is still delicious! Plus, we had it for a light dessert one night which I loved.

 

Is Nutella Made With Hazelnuts?

Nutella does contain hazelnuts.

The most prevalent ingredients are sugar and palm oil.

Nutella also contains cocoa powder and skim milk.

 

What Is The Difference Between Greek Yogurt And Regular Yogurt?

Greek yogurt is strained 3 times which removes most of the liquid.

Because it has been strained, it is thicker and smoother and has a stronger flavor.

Greek yogurt also has more protein than regular yogurt.

 

Is Yogurt Good For You?

Yogurt is packed with probiotics, calcium, potassium, and protein.

Yogurt is one of the healthiest foods you can eat.

Yogurt naturally has some sugar.

That natural sugar is balanced out by all the protein, calcium, and potassium that’s packed in there, too.

Chocolate Hazelnut Yogurt Parfait

Ingredients

  • 16 oz Chobani Plain Greek Yogurt
  • 1 Cup Nutella
  • Fruit
  • Granola

Instructions

  • Mix the nutella and yogurt until well combined (I think you'll have to do a few taste tests to get this one as little or as choclately as you prefer, but this was my preference).
  • Layer with fruit and granola.
  • Enjoy!
