When we first started doing instagram and facebook live events it was super awkward.

Nah, it still is a bit awkward. It would be so different if we could all be in the same room and literally chat but instead it’s up to Facebook if they are even going to show you we are talking, so we sit and wait and hope to see our readers join and begin chatting with us. One reader not only joined in, but she told us she makes a healthy herb veggie dip, so we just had to try it out!!

Do you have picky eaters in your house like we do? All three of our kids have started out so picky that Cade and I literally want to pull our hair out.

You never knew just how annoying meal and snack time could be, did you? My poor mother does, she had to raise me and I was definitely the most picky child ever.

Really it’s karma that has made my kids so awful, haha.

Actually, it gets better. Our 12 year old will try almost anything and our 8 year old is working hard at not moaning and groaning but just bucking up and trying new things.

What’s Healthy to Dip Vegetables in?

This Healthy Herb Veggie Dip is a great way to get your picky eater to try veggies. A cold carrot might be great for some, but let your child dip it in a creamy veggie dip and they are a lot more likely to go back for seconds.

Greek Yogurt Veggie Dip

Greek yogurt is a great substitute for mayonnaise, miracle whip, and sour cream. This means that you can take a simple veggie dip and cut the calories, but increase the protein just with Greek Yogurt.

How to Make Veggie Dip with Ranch

Alright, you’re wanting to know how to make veggie dip with Ranch. Well, the first thing you need to do is buy whatever ranch packet you prefer. Not all ranch packets are created equal, so do a little taste test with your family  before making your ranch veggie dip.

Next, you can sprinkle the dry seasoning packet into Greek Yogurt, sour cream or a combination of mayo and sour cream. This is best done to taste.

How to Make Veggie Dip from Scratch

If you don’t want to use a Ranch seasoning packet that’s totally fine! Using dried or fresh herbs is a great option and it’s still easy to make veggie dip from scratch.

Adding in a little lemon juice will brighten the dip up so it doesn’t taste like purely yogurt.

How Long Does Ranch Dip Last in the Fridge?

This Healthy Herb Veggie Dip, or really a Greek Yogurt Veggie Dip will last up to 1 week in a sealed container in the fridge.

You cannot freeze Greek Yogurt as it will separate quite easily.
