Inspire Retreat Part 2

Inspire Retreat

I’ve totally been missing these girls lately. We had such an amazing time at the Inspire Retreat and I can’t help but gush about them a bit. Saturday we had so much fun sitting around and doing absolutely nothing but gabbing about life and then we got all gussied up and headed down to the RiverHorse  on Main restaurant for dinner. It was amazing. Like for real. I cannot wait to take my husband because not only was the food incredible and totally a step above while still tasting like craveable comfort food but the atmosphere was just as wonderful. We were there for hours and came home utterly stuffed.

Which means that all of Saturday we pretty much ate, a lot. Remember the grilled cheese bar? You must get yourself a Hamilton Beach panini grill and invite some friends over to do that. Thank goodness we had a Magimix food processor for all of that soup too.  It was so fun! And yes, that’s me in the background about to pick in the food. I can’t help it.

And as we continue let’s have a moment of silence for this deliciousness. Sunday morning Annalise, who is one of my baking heroes made these amazing waffles, and I’m not kidding, it is our go to recipe now, and Nikki from Chef in training made a sweet dollop of heaven called “The Goodness” that is truly so delicious that name is perfect. If you do nothing else, pin this post so you can have both links because wow!!! And a big thanks to Gold Medal flour  and Hamilton Beach for making those waffles possible!

After breakfast everyone packed up to hurry off to the airport. It was sad to see everyone leaving but it was starting to snow and no one wanted to risk a delay. Whole Foods was so kind to drop off lunches for everyone to make sure that no one got stuck traveling without a delicious lunch. And you better believe we all devoured the stuff as quickly as we could.

The weekend was so much fun and I love that we got the opportunity to show off just how lovely Utah is. And because I like things to be a little different than the norm I chose to have our swag also be different. It’s a whole bunch of my favorite things so you may want to check them out. Not all could fit in the picture so I’ll list everything below.
