Cozy Soup Recipes to Get You Through the Winter

Key Lime Float

Every kid needs a fun St Patrick’s day drink. This bubbly drink is perfect to make the kiddos feel extra special and excited about the holiday. I tell my little one fun little stories about drinking this “lucky leprechaun elixir” or key lime float which will help them see evidence of the leprechauns. I then place little green footprints on bathroom counters, and pots of gold under the bed. They get such a hoot out of it and I love that.

Is Key Lime Different Than Regular Lime?

Key limes are smaller than regular limes and have thin, leathery skin.

Key limes have a bolder aroma and a very unique flavor.

Can You Substitute Regular Lime For Key Lime?

Key limes are a bit more acidic than regular limes.

Key limes are juicier and have more seeds than regular limes.

Although there is a difference in aroma and flavor, you can substitute regular lime for key lime.

Is Lime Good For You?

Limes are high in vitamin C and antioxidants.

Limes have many health benefits.

  • Awesome drink named lucky-leprechaun-elixir. This recipe will be pinned in my recipe book. First I would like to taste the drink. I personally loved the name of the drink. I have a quick question to you? Pale green color does not make kids attract. So may I add some colors to it to cherish the drink. It will be very nice definitely I guess. Please kindly reply for my question.
