It’s really hard to see, but you get the point. This popcorn recipe is the same as always except we chose to use Strawberry Marshmallows because our little girl REALLLLLLY wanted them at the store and really wanted them in the popcorn. We were HIGHLY doubtful that it would be good. IT WAS! It was brown sugary and strawberry sweet all at the same time. Who would have thought, Strawberry Marshmallow Popcorn…?  I had never had anything other than a regular marshmallow so apparently I need to start checking them out at the grocery store.

Are Marshmallows Dairy Free?

Marshmallows are made up of basically just sugar, water and gelatin.

Marshmallows are completely dairy free and gluten free.

 

Is Popcorn Just Dried Sweet Corn?

Popcorn is not sweet corn.

Popcorn is a variety of corn that is harvested when the husks are dried and brown and the kernels are hard.

Only the kernels from popcorn cobs will pop.

Description

brown sugary and strawberry sweet all at the same time. Who would have thought, Strawberry Marshmallow Popcorn...?

Ingredients 

  • 1/4 Cup Butter
  • 8 Large Strawberry Marshmallows
  • 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 Bag Low Fat Popcorn

Instructions

  • Pop the popcorn and place in a bowl.
  • Make sure you try to pick out as many seeds as possible since they will stick to the good kernels.
  • Place butter, brown sugar and marshmallows in a bowl and heat in the microwave for 30 seconds.
  • Remove and stir.
  • Continue until you have completely combined the ingredients.
  • Pour over popcorn and toss together!
