Strawberry Marshmallow Popcorn

It’s really hard to see, but you get the point. This popcorn is the same as always except we chose to use Strawberry Marshmallows because our little girl REALLLLLLY wanted them at the store and really wanted them in the popcorn. We were HIGHLY doubtful that it would be good. IT WAS! It was brown sugary and strawberry sweet all at the same time. Who would have thought, Strawberry Marshmallow Popcorn…?  I had never had anything other than a regular marshmallow so apparently I need to start checking them out at the grocery store.

Are Marshmallows Dairy Free?

Marshmallows are made up of basically just sugar, water and gelatin.

Marshmallows are completely dairy free and gluten free.

Is Popcorn Just Dried Sweet Corn?

Popcorn is not sweet corn.

Popcorn is a variety of corn that is harvested when the husks are dried and brown and the kernels are hard.

Only the kernels from popcorn cobs will pop.

Does Popcorn Contain Any Nutrition?

Popcorn is a whole grain, making it a good-for-you food.

Popcorn provides energy-producing complex carbohydrates.

Popcorn contains fiber, providing roughage the body needs in the daily diet.

When air popped, or popped with oil and not loaded with salt and butter, it can be a low calorie snack.
