Lemon Blackberry Cobbler

Ingredients

  • 10 Cups Blackberries washed (frozen works great)
  • 1 Cup Sugar
  • 1/3 Cup Flour
  • 1 Cake Mix lemon
  • 1/2 Cup Butter or 1 stick, sliced in pieces

Instructions

  • Heat an oven to 350 degrees, and set out a large souffle dish, dutch oven or 9x13" baking dish.
  • Heat a large sauce pan over medium heat.
  • Add the berries, sugar, and flour.
  • Heat, stirring occasionally until thick and bubbling.
  • Pour into your baking dish.
  • Sprinkle the entire cake mix over all of the berries.
  • Dot with all of the butter (break up little pieces all over the cake mix).
  • Bake at 350 for 25 to 30 minutes.
  • Serve hot!

Notes

if you want to make this while camping just put it in a dutch oven with hot coals under and over the lid. Enjoy 30 minutes later!
