Sweet Pork Taco Bowls

Ingredients

  • Old El Paso Taco Bowls
  • 2.5 pound Pork butt boneless
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 1 cup Old El Paso Roasted Garlic Sauce
  • 1 cup root beer

For the tacos

  • Medium cheddar cheese grated
  • Tomatoes chopped
  • Lettuce chopped

Instructions

  • Place the Old El Paso sauce, brown sugar and root beer in a slow cooker.
  • Stir to combine.
  • Add the pork butt and cook on low for 6 hours.
  • Remove the meat, shred it and place it back in the slow cooker for an additional 2 hours.
  • Heat the taco bowls in a warm oven, 350° for 2 to 3 minutes, fill with pork and top with cheese, tomatoes and lettuce.
  • Enjoy!

Notes

Leftover pork is great to use in other recipes like bbq sandwiches etc.
