Peanut Butter Blossoms

These Peanut Butter Blossoms were one of my favorite cookies growing up. I mean, who wouldn't want a peanut butter cookie with a Hershey's Kiss stuck in the middle?! Plus, peanut butter and chocolate together are pretty much the best thing ever!
Ingredients
- 1/2 Cup Butter softened
- 3/4 Cup Brown Sugar
- 1/4 Cup White Sugar
- 1 Cup Peanut Butter
- 1 Egg Large
- 3/4 Teaspoon Vanilla
- 1 3/4 Cups All Purpose Flour make sure you measure in this way
- 1/4 Teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 Teaspoon Baking Powder
- 1/2 Teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1 Pkg Candy Hershey Kisses
- Sugar for rolling the dough in
Instructions
- Heat oven to 375
- In a large mixing bowl cream together the butter, peanut butter and sugars.
- Add egg and vanilla and mix on low until combined.
- In a separate bowl combine dry ingredients and slowly add to the large mixing bowl.
- Continue to mix until just combined.
- In a separate bowl pour in sugar.
- Roll the dough into balls and roll in sugar.
- Place on a baking sheet and bake for 8-9 minutes.
- Remove from oven and quickly place a chocolate kiss on each cookie.
Notes
These cookies can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 weeks.
