Microwave for 20 seconds, stir and repeat until smooth.
Place parchment paper on a cookie sheet or on the counter.
Using a fork, drop the oreos one at a time into the chocolate and flip over to coat.
Lift out with the fork and lightly tap the handle on the side of the bowl to help the excess chocolate drip off.
Using a second fork, gently push the oreo off of the fork and onto the parchment paper to dry. see note
Notes
The oreo crumbs can make for unappealing looking cookies. Before dropping them into the chocolate brush off any crumbs.Store in an airtight container in a cool location.
