In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and continue to cook until just starting to brown.
1/4 Cup Butter
Remove from heat and pour into another bowl to cool.
Beat the cream cheese, brown sugar and powdered sugar for 1 minute, or until smooth.
1/2 Cup Brown Sugar, 3/4 Cup Powdered Sugar, 8 oz Cream Cheese
Add in the vanilla and beat again.
1 1/4 teaspoon Vanilla
Slowly beat in the cooled butter mixture and beat again for another minute or until all ingredients are properly combined.
Stir in the chocolate chips.
1 Cup Chocolate Chips
Place in the fridge to set.
Serve with Vanilla Wafers or Graham crackers.

Notes
When you pull out the dip it will be pretty solid so make sure to remove it from the refrigerator about 15 minutes before you plan on serving it. This way it has time to soften up and guests can easily serve it up.This dip will keep for several days in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
