Instructions
Sprinkle the yeast and sugar over the warm water.
1 Tablespoon Rounded Yeast + 1/2 Teaspoon Sugar,
3 Tablespoons Sugar,
1/2 Cup Warm Water
Melt the butter in the scalded milk.
1 1/4 Cup Milk,
4 Tablespoons Butter
Cool until luke warm.
Add eggs, 3 Tablespoons sugar, salt and dissolved yeast to a bowl.
2 Eggs,
1 teaspoon Salt
Mix in the cooled butter/milk mixture.
Add in the flour and stir to combine.
4 Cups Flour
Knead the dough on a heavily floured surface until smooth.
Roll out and shape into rolls. I like to just pinch mine into balls or cut into strips and tie in knots.
Bake 10-12 min at 400.
Notes
to freeze: cool completely, wrap in plastic and foil or place in freezer bag and freeze for 2-3 months
