Instructions
Heat the oven to 350 degrees.
Peel the sweet potatoes and slice in circles.
6 Sweet Potatoes
Place the sweet potatoes in a pot of boiling water and turn down to medium heat.
Cook until almost tender, about 8-10 minutes.
Remove from water and placed in a greased 9x13" baking dish.
In a saucepan over medium heat, add the orange juice, brown sugar, white sugar, corn starch, and orange zest.
1 Cup Orange Juice,
1/3 Cup Brown Sugar,
1/3 Cup White Sugar,
2 Tablespoons Corn Starch,
1 Tablespoons Orange Zest
Season with salt and pepper and slowly cook the ingredients together until it comes to a boil.
Salt and Pepper to taste
Stir in the butter and then pour over the sweet potatoes.
2 Tablespoons Butter
Bake at 350 until hot and bubbly, about 20-25 minutes.
Notes
Reheat in the oven at 350 degrees for 10 minutes, or microwave to reheat.
