Instructions
In a 3 quart slow cooker, combine the brown sugar, honey, orange zest, orange juice, butter, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt, stirring to combine.
1/4 Cup Brown Sugar,
1/4 Cup Honey,
1 teaspoon Orange Zest,
1/2 Cup Orange Juice,
2 Tablespoons Butter,
1 teaspoon Cinnamon,
1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg,
1/4 teaspoon Salt
Fold in the carrots.
2 Pounds Baby Carrots
Cook on low until carrots are tender, about 3-4 hours.
In a small bowl, whisk together the cornstarch and water until smooth. Open the slow cooker lid and slowly stir in the slurry.
4 teaspoons Corn Starch,
1/4 Cup Water
Cook an additional 1-2 hours or until tender and thickened.
Notes
Left overs can be reheated in the microwave.
