this fruit salsa is seriously wonderful. Just marvelous. Make it. Eat it. Live a happier life.
Ingredients
2Peaches, chopped
2Nectarines, chopped
4Kiwi, peeled and chopped
1Mango, peeled and chopped
2Containers of Strawberries, chopped
1TablespoonLemon Juice
1/4CupStrawberry Jam, freezer jam is best if you have it
for the cinnamon sugar chips
6Uncooked Tortillas, you can buy these at costco or in the cheese section of the grocery store
2TablespoonsUnsalted Butter, melted
1/2CupCinnamon Sugar
Instructions
add all of the fruit to a large bowl, drizzle with lemon juice and jam and lightly fold everything together.
2 Peaches, 2 Nectarines, 4 Kiwi, 1 Mango, 2 Containers of Strawberries, 1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice, 1/4 Cup Strawberry Jam
for the cinnamon sugar chips
cook the tortillas over medium heat in a pan.
6 Uncooked Tortillas
remove and brush with melted butter.
2 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter
sprinkle with cinnamon sugar and slice into triangles. (we use a pizza cutter or chefs knife to make it go faster).
1/2 Cup Cinnamon Sugar
place parchment paper on a cookie sheet and bake at 400 for 5-8 min depending on how long they take to crisp (one batch took 10 min for us so i think i must have not pre cooked those very well).
