Oh sweet little piece of deliciousness. This grilled cheese sandwich has become one of our absolute favorites. The simplicity of it is what reeled me in years ago when I saw it featured on a popular tv show. There is a secret ingredient that totally makes this sandwich!

Ingredients

2 Slices Wheat Bread good quality
Honey
2 Slices Havarti Cheese
2-4 Slices Vine Ripe Tomato
Fresh Basil

Instructions

Spread a thin layer of honey on each slice of bread.
2 Slices Wheat Bread, Honey
Top with cheese, tomato, basil (2-3 leaves) and another slice of cheese.
2 Slices Havarti Cheese, 2-4 Slices Vine Ripe Tomato, Fresh Basil
You can butter the bread, or we just use a little olive oil or nothing at all.
Grill in a pan over medium heat until golden on each side.
