The Number One Travel Shoes for Men and Women

What are the best travel shoes for men and women that are comfortable and fashionable? We have an answer, the number one travel shoes for men and women. 

When preparing for a few trips last year and this summer we started googling, travel shoes for men, what are the best travel shoes, fashionable travel shoes for women and on and on. Our first results came up with shoes very much meant for hospitals and the elderly.

Our searches turned to stylish travel shoes, best travel shoes of 2017 and so on and so on. We came up with quite a few options and as our last two trips would be Italy and then Disneyland (how many of you have googled, what shoes to wear at Disneyland? I know you’ve at least asked friends on facebook).

Nothing.

Finally we had the brilliant idea to look into boat shoes for Cade which opened a whole new world for me.

Now, don’t get me wrong, if you’re on a beach in California you could wear flip flops but it didn’t really work to walk all over Italy in flip flops. Just ask Cade about his broken toe experience the last time he thought flip flops would work. But these shoes, they are the winner.

So what did we find? Sperry!! Sperry were perfect! Not just any Sperry Boat shoe, the Gold Cup and it’s very much worthy of just that. I wore the Huaraches which I’m still living in everywhere I go.

The leather is beautiful and just as simple as it is classy, which makes it easy to go from exploring a town or island to dinner out on the town that evening.

Inside the shoes is the most buttery, deliciously comfortable sole you will ever slide your feet into. That sounded like we were describing food, but then again we are in the business of delicious things, aren’t we?

In our travels we’ve been taking multiple shoes and sandals to see what was the best and our Italy trip proved to be the true test. Sperry won again. Absolutely no aching feet and we were walking all over Florence, Venice, Murano, Burano, and Fiesole all day for 7 days straight. Not one blister, not one sore heel (my least favorite thing on prior trips) and no rubbing or digging at the skin at all.

Not only do the shoes look beautiful but they are truly the number one shoe for traveling. No, they didn’t pay us to say that, but we did reach out to see if we could each test a shoe to see if it would hold up to the rest, and oh my gosh, Sperry obsessed over here!

Listen, we literally know every other brand that’s going to come up on your search for what are the best shoes for traveling, or what are the best walking sandals for travel, or best walking shoes for travel. Yup, we’ve typed it all in, but I promise you, ditch every other recommendation and go Sperry. We wore them with shorts, pants, and even with bathing suits on the way to the pool. I chose the huaraches which were lovely with skirts, dresses and every other outfit I chose.

Our shoes got wet and not only did they not stay wet but they still did not rub on our feet nor did it affect the shoe at all. They dried quickly and will be accompanying us on every future trip.

In fact, we decided to start a little adventure, so everywhere we go we will take a picture with our shoes and use the hashtag #sperrytravel. Cannot wait to see where these shoes take us next!
