Can you even believe that I’m posting something with habanero in the title?! Did you all faint just now? Haha, joke’s on you because this pineapple habanero pork isn’t spicy at all. In fact, it’s totally awesome!

Costco was selling this pineapple habanero sauce and they (of course) were giving out little samples. Cade was all over it, but I saw that name and quickly avoided it. Cade found me grabbing milk and insisted that it wasn’t spicy, just a little kick but that the flavor was crazy good. I personally was eyeing the Yasso Greek Yogurt bars, so I figured that if it was spicy I could grab one of those samples and be on my dandy little way.

Dudes, it was so yummy! In fact, I’ve added to the list for this week so Cade can grab a couple more jars just in case they decided to pull it from the shelves as Costco loves to bring things out for only a short amount of time. Hello frozen marionberries for example. BRING. THEM. BACK!!! Anyway, we knew right away that we wanted to try it with pork, but it’s been so hot out I didn’t want to stand out with the smoker or even grill so we popped it in the slow cooker with a little brown sugar and BOOYAH!!! Heaven on Earth.

You can eat it plain, in a taco or even over our delicious coconut rice. We like to add a touch more of the jarred sauce when serving just to give a hint of freshness to what’s inside.
Are Habanero Peppers Hot?
Habaneros are actually chilis.
Hababero chilis are very hot.
They are a popular ingredient in hot sauces and other spicy foods because of their flavor and floral aroma.
Will Pork Roast Shred?
Any fatty pork roast will shred easily.
Can Pork Be Served Pink?
A Little Pink Is OK.
The recommended cooking temperature of pork is 145 degrees Fahrenheit.
That may leave some pork pink, but it is safe to eat.
Pineapple Habanero Pork

Can I cook this on high for 4 hours??? Hoping my costco has this sauce!!
You totally can, but we don’t think it ever turns out quite as juicy and tender on high.
This pork would be devoured in no time at our house!
Thanks Jessica!
Nothing goes better with pork than pineapple! Looks delicious!
Amen!
This wouldn’t last more than 5 minutes in my house. I’m excited to try it!
This sounds delicious! We don’t have a Costco nearby, so I might try to make the sauce.
ohhh, lmk if you do and how it goes! I keep thinking I need to make my own too!
This would be a massive hit here, need to make this soon!!!
I know it’s so easy and uses a store bought sauce which usually we make our own but for some reason we just love it!
ill try do it my own
You are rockin my world with this! I love everything about it!
yAHOO!!!! We love it so much! Thanks, girl!
This sounds right up my alley!
That looks so good! I love using pineapple in savoury dishes like this!
Totally! It adds just a little something to meats or tacos. 🙂
My mother n law is never happy with me when she makes pork chops and really any pork meal. Between you and me it’s just not very good and I have a hard time taking a large portion. This is the recipe she needs. This looks unbelievable! The question is, how do I pass this to my mother n law?
Send her the recipe with lots of sweet notes about how amazing she is and hopefully she will give it a try. If all else fails try it with beef. It’s so good!
