I’ve been standing here in a bathroom I intended to be sweeping for 15 min trying to decide what to say. How do I express everything in my heart this Monday morning?
I guess it all starts with the ol’ Corona. Everyone’s talking about supporting local small businesses but what I didn’t even realize for the first few weeks was that would include us.
Advertisers aren’t spending much on ads these days, not with corona and the economy being a mess. And this is our main job, this is our income so ads not paying means us not bringing home the bacon, literally and figuratively. Don’t get me wrong, we are on our knees in gratitude that the blog is still earning but we are one of those small local businesses being hurt by all of this.
Overwhelmed with Gratitude
And yet, I’m full of more gratitude, more focus and purpose than I ever have been with the blog. I want it to matter. I want to help you cook and my goodness We are grateful you are. You reading our blog and making the recipes, scrolling and pinning is sustaining us and it’s not just financial.
Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts for your love and support at this time. Thank you for keeping us afloat.
