Instructions
Heat a nonstick griddle to medium heat.
Make the berry sauce and set aside.
Prepare the french toast batter.
1 Recipe French Toast
Prepare the filling by beating the softened cream cheese with the powdered sugar. Add the vanilla and beat until smooth. Fold in chopped bananas (we like them quartered).
8 Ounce Cream Cheese,
3/4 Cup Powdered Sugar,
1/2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract,
1 Banana
Slice the bread and cover with a smear of filling. Top with another slice of bread and dip each side in the batter.
Heat an oven to warm with a large cookie sheet so you can put any finished french toast in to stay warm.
Butter the griddle and add the french toast. Cook until golden on each side.
Meanwhile, start on the syrup and allow it to cook while the french toast is cooking.
Remove to a plate and serve with berry sauce and syrup!

Notes
How to reheat french toast:
Toaster:
pop them in a toaster just like a piece of toast, the outside gets nice and toasty again.
Oven:
place the French toast in a single layer on a baking sheet and warm them up in the oven at 300 degrees for 5-7 minutes.
Microwave:
zap them in the microwave for about a minute, the outside won't be crispy.
