I’m usually a fan of ice cold water, but this basil mint lemonade is the most refreshing drink I’ve ever had. Forget all other summer drinks and make this.

OHHHHHHHH You’ve all been so patient waiting for this Basil Mint Lemonade, but I’ve finally got it all up for you! Hoooray!  Remember the event back at Harmons? Yes, well this is the lemonade that I thought was so fabulous. I really cannot begin to tell you how refreshing it is. It’s so unexpected. You take a sip, fully anticipating lemonade, just regular old lemonade and then at the very end you get this light, fresh zip of mint and then a little basil.

so do i need to double the simple syrup recipe for the lemonade?

    1. Sweet Basil says:

You should just need a single batch of the simple syrup. Once you add the sugar and herbs, it ends up being about 2 cups. Enjoy!
