Ingredients 

  • ¾ Box Funfetti Cake Mix, powder
  • ¾ Cup White Chocolate Peanut Butter, creamy
  • 2 Tablespoons Butter
  • 1 ½ Cup White Chocolate Chips
  • 8 ½ Cup Rice Chex

Instructions 

  • First heat treat cake mix. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Spread the cake mix in a thin layer on a baking sheet. Bake for 5-10 minutes. Let it cool completely.
    ¾ Box Funfetti Cake Mix
  • Melt peanut butter, butter, white chocolate chips together in a large saucepan, stirring frequently over medium heat or use a microwave.
    ¾ Cup White Chocolate Peanut Butter, 2 Tablespoons Butter, 1 ½ Cup White Chocolate Chips
  • Add the cereal to a large bowl. Pour the peanut butter mixture over the cereal and stir until the cereal is evenly coated.
    8 ½ Cup Rice Chex
  • Let the mixture cool for a bit so it’s not too warm. Add 1 cup cake mix. Mix until combined. 
  • Add more cake mix 1/4 cup at a time until your cereal is coated to your satisfaction. Let the muddy buddies cool.

Recipe Notes

*You can use Corn Chex, or any other kind of Chex Cereal instead of Rice Chex if you choose.
