I’m always a little weary of the one pot meals. We have a few, One Pot Lasagna Pasta and Slow Cooker Chicken Alfredo Rice Casserole for example, and they really do in fact turn out without dirtying a sink of dishes, however we’ve also tried a few from pinterest and been greatly disappointed in the lack of flavor. Every summer I can’t get enough of the fresh produce. My parents have a ginormous yard and garden, and I mean huge garden and we reap the benefits of their hard work whenever we go to visit, but we have yet to have our own garden like that. Ingredients 

  • 1 Package Three Cheese Tortellini, dried
  • 3 Cups Marinara of choice
  • 1 Cup Chicken Broth
  • 1 Zucchini, sliced
  • 2 Cups Tomatoes of choice, we used a variety of small grape tomatoes
  • 1 Tablespoon Basil, minced
  • 2 Cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1/2 Cup Heavy Cream
  • 1/3 Cup Parmesan Cheese
  • Salt and Pepper to Taste
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Parsley

Instructions

  • In a slow cooker, add all of the ingredients and stir to combine.
    1 Package Three Cheese Tortellini, 3 Cups Marinara of choice, 1 Cup Chicken Broth, 1 Zucchini, 2 Cups Tomatoes of choice, 1 Tablespoon Basil, 2 Cloves Garlic, 1/2 Cup Heavy Cream, 1/3 Cup Parmesan Cheese, Salt and Pepper to Taste, 1 teaspoon Dried Parsley
  • Turn the slow cooker to low heat and place the lid on.
  • Allow to cook for 4 hours or until everything is tender and heated through.
