Is A Smoothie a Meal Replacement?

In order for a smoothie to qualify as a meal, it needs a few hearty ingredients.

Grab at least two high-protein additions like Greek yogurt, tofu, nut butter, chia seeds, or a good protein powder.

What Are Chia Seeds?

Chia seeds and the seeds of a flowering plant related to the mint family.

Chia Seeds are an excellent source of omega-3 fatty acid.

They also are an excellent source of fiber, and contain protein and minerals including iron, calcium, magnesium and zinc.
