Okay, I am just going to say it. This Fluffy Cheesecake Fruit Dip might be one of the best things I have ever made and I would happily eat it every single day for the rest of my life. We first shared this recipe seven years ago and every single winter I find myself counting down the days until berry season so we can bring it back out and talk about it again. It is just that good.

Make this on a warm sunny afternoon, take it outside, and eat it with your family. Or bring it to your next barbecue and get ready to smile and nod when everyone crowds around asking who made it and where on earth the recipe came from.

Cheesecake Fruit Dip Ingredients

This fruit dip recipe is so versatile. I’m going to list out the ingredients that we love, but know from the start that you can totally swap out different fruits or flavors of yogurt. Here is what you will need:

  • Instant Cheesecake Pudding: You want the pudding powder to add that classic cheesecake flavor.
  • Cool Whipadds sweetness and creaminess
  • Strawberry Yogurtadds more fruity flavor and creaminess to the salad. I don’t recommend plain Greek yogurt unless you’re adding additional sweeteners.
  • Bananascut into ½ inch slices
  • Strawberriesstem removed and sliced
  • Raspberriesleft whole but rinsed
  • Optional: Blueberries, Blackberries, Peaches, Cherries, Apple Slices, or Grapes
  • Graham CrackersIf you really want to make this salad taste like a true cheesecake, add crushed graham crackers. Vanilla wafers, pretzels, peanut butter cookies, or butter cookies work great too!

Best Dippers

After trying many different combinations of fruit in this recipe, I’ve decided my favorite dippers are fresh bananas, fresh strawberries, fresh blueberries, fresh raspberries, and fresh blackberries. So fresh! Haha!

How to Make Cheesecake Fruit Dip

One of my favorite things about this strawberry cheesecake dip is that it couldn’t be easier! It’s one of our go-to’s. Just two quick steps, and you have a delicious fruit dip.

  1. Mix: In a large bowl, mix the pudding powder, whipped topping, and yogurt together. Feel free to hand mix it or use a whisk attachment on a stand mixer.
  2. Finish: Add the fruit and carefully fold it into the creamy cheesecake mixture. Then let it chill in the fridge until it’s ready to serve (at least 30 minutes).

These instructions can also be found in the recipe card below, where you can also print or save the recipe.

Cheesecake Fruit Dip FAQ

How to Keep Berry Cheesecake Dip Fresh?

Store this fruit dip in the refrigerator all the way up until serving. Then store any leftovers in an airtight container. They will keep for up to 2-3 days.
This recipe will not freeze well, so I don’t recommend trying to freeze it.

Is Fruit Salad a Salad or a Dessert?

Refreshing fruit salad is perfect as a side dish or a healthy dessert.
I looooooove how creamy it is and the cheesecake pudding gives it so much more deliciousness!!! And the best part is that it’s easily adaptable to any personal preferences, add blueberries, forget the peaches, etc.

Can I Use Frozen Berries?

I wouldn’t recommend using frozen berries in this recipe. The texture ends up mushy and frozen berries release extra juices. Definitely stick with fresh fruit for this recipe.

Where Can I Find Cheesecake Pudding Mix?

Jello brand makes it, you should find it in any grocery store where they sell pudding/gelatin.

There have been questions about actually mixing up the pudding first. You do not mix the pudding before making this recipe. You are only using the dry powder mixed with the other ingredients.
Use whatever fruit you prefer, blackberries, strawberries, raspberries, grapes, peaches etc.
Best when eaten right away, but can be stored for 2-3 days in the refrigerator.
