Peanut Butter Toffee Apple Dip
This is getting sad, my love for peanut butter is getting out of control and I kind of need the whole world to join me. That’s my new goal for life. That and a few others concerning our children, owning a home debt free etc, but peanut butter is clearly at the top of the list starting with this peanut butter toffee apple dip. It’s like our Brown Sugar Apple Dip that everyone obsesses over but even better because it’s like a peanut butter cookie and toffee apple dip got married. True. Love. You can thank Smuckers Natural Peanut Butter for sponsoring this post and inspiring this deliciousness.
Did you know I’ve never really had toffee? It’s true. I found two kinds in the chocolate chip section of the store, plain and chocolate covered, but with peanut butter in the mix I clearly had to go with chocolate, it’s meant to be with peanut butter. Kind of like how this dip is meant to go with an adventure, or party, or let’s be honest anytime.
We are pretty picky about who we work with on the blog but when we heard that Smuckers is partnering with the National Parks Conservation Association (NPCA) for the fourth consecutive year to support America’s parks by donating $100,000 and encouraging consumers to get involved with NPCA initiatives across the country.
Living in Utah ,we have a few National Parks and are very familiar with just how beautiful and healing the outdoors can be. One day we would love to travel around and see other National Parks but we know that means that everyone has to actually get out there and take care of them and take advantage of the beauty that America has to offer.
Plus, Smuckers Natural Peanut Butter is made from only the best fresh roasted peanuts, and adds an unprocessed, robust peanut flavor to your favorite lunchtime sandwich and favorite family recipes. I love a good unprocessed PB!
Start by letting your cream cheese get soft as you don’t want little beads of cream cheese in the dip.
Next, whip it with a handheld mixer until smooth then add in the peanut butter and brown sugar and whip again until creamy. Fold in the toffee and sprinkle a little extra on top then serve with apples or bananas. Oh my golly, so good on grapes and bananas too. HEAVEN!
We live in such a beautiful place, but I’m embarrassed to admit that we hadn’t ever taken the kids out to Timpanogos National Park and certainly not the caves. I know, how silly of us. You guys, it was amazing. We snagged our friends for the day and found a great spot called, Tibble Fork. It’s our new favorite place!! The water, mountains, my goodness, everything! It’s just quiet and peaceful and we have been there multiple times a week ever since.
Why Are Apples Good for You?
Apples are extremely rich in important antioxidants, flavanoids, and dietary fiber.
Apples may help reduce the risk of developing cancer, hypertension, diabetes, and heart disease.
Can Apples Be Refrigerated?
You can refrigerate apples, but you don’t need to.
The cold air inside the refrigerator tends to break down their crisp texture.
Leave them out on the counter.
But if you prefer your fruit cold, go ahead and refrigerate.
