One of the first recipes to go viral on Pinterest. Millions of views these Reese’s Krispies are worth every calorie and you can make them in 10 minutes!

We’ve had a few viral recipes since then too! Have you tried our buttermilk pancakes? Or our Instant Pot Chili? Both AMAZING! In fact, you should start your day with some pancakes, have the chili for dinner and then have these Reese’s Krispies for dessert! BEST. DAY. EVER!
Do Reese’s Rice Krispies Need to be Refrigerated?
Reese’s Krispies can be stored at room temperature in air tight containment (zip-top bag with no air in it), for 1 to 2 days without any ill effect. They keep longer than they last, if you get my drift. You can refrigerate them.
If you like this recipe for, Reese’s Krispies make sure you check out the MilkyWay Krispies, and Reese’s Crumble! This post is a repost from years and years ago, but seeing as how this recipe, no matter what I do remains number one on our site, I thought it would be a good idea to bring it back to life. I’ve left the original post on here, so you get to see our kids from almost 6 years ago!

Why Are My Reese’s Rice Krispie Treats Hard?
High heat is the prime culprit for rock hard rice krispie treats. → Follow this tip: It will take a few more minutes of cook time, but melt the butter and marshmallows over low heat. You’ll be rewarded with delicious, soft and chewy treats!

Who has left over Halloween candy?!
I know I do. I was trying to think up a delicious way to enjoy all of that candy other than just eating piece by piece and I came up with these. Oh! I think I forgot to even tell you about Halloween!
Ok, first of all, our sweet little one had just healed from Croup. And a bad version of it. She’s only 16 lbs so to be hit with an extremely bad strain of croup was a big deal. By Halloween it was just a bad cold, so all of the scary not breathing, or troubled breathing had thankfully ended. Two steroids is what it took and I pray it doesn’t ever happen again. Croup is quite honestly one of the worst things ever.
Anyway, last year I had wanted to dress our oldest up as Rainbow Brite, but I am sooooo glad I waited until this year. Aren’t they darling?!
Make sure you click on the video below to watch how these go down.

Ok, I know, I’m bragging. But, don’t you think everything turned out perf?! The sprite costume of “Twink” was made by Erika from, Pink Suede Shoe.
She’s amazing. That’s all. Enough Said. Check out her site. Love her. Envy her talent. Go ahead. I already do.

Are Reese’s Rice Krispies Gluten Free?
Reese’s Rice Krispies are not actually gluten-free. They contain malt and, sometimes, barley for a flavor enhancer. Besides this, they are made in a gluten-filled vicinity which makes them officially non-gluten-free.

These look so yummy! Trying to find things to mail to my freshman college girl in NY but I live in CA so they need to travel well! Any tips??
My mom lined a Tupperware with wax paper and layered them with wax paper between and a secure lid then packed it with packing peanuts etc so it didn’t move. She’s going love getting these in the mail!
Love the no bake Reese’s rice krispie treat
Thank you!
My grandmother used to make Rice Krispy Treats with Karo Syrup, Sugar, and peanut butter instead of marshmallows, and this is the only other recipe I have seen like that. THANK YOU FOR HELPING ME REALIZE I AM NOT GOING CRAZY.
That’s my job! Keeping us from feeling crazy! haha
My great aunt taught me to make Special K (the cereal) bars with 1 cup each of sugar, corn syrup and peanut butter. Then add the cereal, then melt chocolate chips and butterscotch chips and spread on top. This recipe reminds me of this!
That sounds delicious!
Rice crispy treats are the best!
Amen to that!
These look great! I can’t wait to try them!
Hope you love them!
This is my favorite candy combination plus I love Rice Krispies. Will be making soon. Thanks for posting!

Do you by any chance have the original original recipe of the Reese’s no bake cookies? They were my absolute favorite! They didn’t have chocolate chips in them, or rice crispies. They had oats, peanut butter, and Reese’s… I just don’t remember everything. If you could help me it’d be so appreciated 🙂
Hi JoJo, unfortunately I haven’t had those but I have had no bake cookies. I’ll have to see what I can dig up for you.
Thank you!
Yes there is a no bake cookie like that I make them all the time for my hubby as they are his favorite always asking me to make them all the time
These were SO good! Me and my family had them for our Christmas Dinner!
Yay!! I’m so glad you enjoyed them! Thank you for taking the time to comment!
Do you use light or dark corn syrup?
Always light 🙂
Im curious if this will work with 3Musketeers. I still have several bags left over from Halloween and want to get rid of them in a more interesting way. Will have to try and see if it works.
