You can make this grilled sticky honey lime shrimp all summer long and then when the weather turns cold just continue making shrimp in a skillet!
This is definitely one of those recipes that works well both indoors and out, however there’s something so fantastic about the smokiness with that rub on the shrimp and the sticky glaze dripping through your fingertips.
This is so crazy easy to make. I mean, looking for a quick and easy dinner idea with shrimp? Yeah, this is it. It’s just like our sticky honey lime grilled chicken, which is a huge hit so definitely check out that recipe.
We keep the rub on hand in a little mason jar or ziploc bag in our cupboard so that we can throw some meat on the grill at any time. It’s simply a few southwestern spices like cumin, garlic powder, chili powder etc so it’s even good for ground beef or turkey.
Grilled Sticky Honey Lime Shrimp
The sauce is also easily kept in your fridge for a good two weeks as it’s just lime juice, vinegar (apple cider please) and honey. Oh my goodness, it’s so good. I mean, I’d totally grill up some fruit, or heck even just use fresh fruit and drizzle that yumminess over the top.
This grilled sticky honey lime shrimp would totally be good in salads, burrito bowls, alone, or even as shish kabobs with veggies. It’s all up to you!
