I love these turkey lettuce wraps! Years ago I was living in Chicago and we all went out to PF Changs for dinner. Everyone was ordering the lettuce wraps and I was like, “meat in lettuce… yeah sounds really great.” Wait, it was awesome!!!!!!!! I was totally thinking it would be lame, but it was delicious.
This recipe comes from my neighbor, Krysta. They are so flavorful and moist. I love sauce so they are right up my alley. I did adjust the brown sugar a bit because it was a little too sweet and I felt guilty adding a whole cup, and I did leave out the celery since we didn’t have any. These lettuce wraps are quick and easy. The cool lettuce around all of that saucy meat is perfect for summer.
