
Our good friend, Vinny had a scope done on his knee last week. Sad day for him. We took him some delicious chocolate white chocolate chip cookies later that night and I really liked them. They are soft and gooey on the inside and they have the perfect, crisp outside.
The white chocolate chips are light and creamy against the more rich chocolate cookie. We loved them and I just know that you guys will too!
How Do You Keep Soft Cookies From Getting Hard?
Let homemade cookies cool completely before putting them in a storage container.
They should be stored in an airtight container.
If soft cookies begin to harden, you can place a slice of bread in the container with the cookies.
The bread will add moisture to the cookies, but will not change the flavor.
How Long Can you Freeze Cookies?
Cookies that are wrapped well and placed in a heavy duty freezer bag will keep for up to 3 months in the freezer.

Ingredients
- 1 1/4 Cup Butter
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 1 Cup Brown Sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 2 Teaspoons Vanilla
- 2 1/2 Cup Flour
- 3/4 Cup Cocoa
- 1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
- 1/2-3/4 Bag White Chocolate Chips
Instructions
- Mix the sugar and butter until creamed.
- Add the eggs and vanilla and mix again.
- In a separate bowl combine the dry ingredients and slowly add to the wet ingredients.
- Mix until just combined.
- Stir in the white chocolate chips.
- Bake at 350 for 8 min.
- Remove from the pan and cool on a cooling rack.
