This strawberry fluff fruit dip recipe was one of the first recipes I fell in love with as a kid, and honestly, I’ve never grown out of it. It’s light, creamy, and totally irresistible. Plus, it couldn’t be easier: just two ingredients and a bowl.

I first had this at a party thrown by my friend Shannon Mattson, and it’s been a favorite ever since. Now my kids lick the bowl clean. No baking, no stress. Just two simple ingredients, a quick whip, and serve with fresh fruit.
If you’re new here, a quick confession. Fruit is my soulmate. I’ll choose a juicy peach or strawberries over chocolate. Almost. Fresh chocolate chip cookies are still sacred. Anywho, this dip is the best of both worlds: light, creamy, just sweet enough, and the kind of thing that makes you want to keep dipping “one more piece” of fruit.

Strawberry Fluff Fruit Dip Ingredients
Get ready to dip your fruit into this dreamy, fluffy dip! You and your family will go crazy for this recipe!
- Marshmallow Fluff: You’ll want the jarred kind from the store. Jet-Puffed makes a version called marshmallow creme that works perfectly. I’ve even heard there’s a strawberry-flavored version out there! If you spot it, grab it!
- Strawberry Cream Cheese: I like to use the 7.5-ounce container from Philadelphia. It adds the perfect fruity tang and creamy texture.
Just two ingredients for a totally dreamy, crowd-pleasing dip. You’ll find the exact measurements and step-by-step instructions in the recipe card at the bottom of this post.
Can I Use Another Flavor of Cream Cheese?

I don’t see why not! Use any fruit-flavored cream cheese you’d like. I’ve also seen cheesecake and brown sugar cream cheese, which would work nicely here, too.
How to Make Homemade Fruit Dip
This strawberry marshmallow dip is almost too easy! Like, “how is this even a recipe?” easy. It takes less than 5 minutes to whip up, and here’s all you need to do:
- Mix: Stir the marshmallow fluff and cream cheese with a hand mixer or a stand mixer until all the lumps are out.
- Serve: Spoon into a serving dish and serve alongside your choice of fruit.
That’s it! Truly, the easiest appetizer or snack. It’s perfect for baby showers, bridal showers, birthday parties, or just because you’re craving something sweet and fluffy. It’s always a crowd favorite!

What to Serve with Fruit Dip
This creamy, easy fruit dip is the perfect centerpiece for any fruit platter. I love setting a bowl in the middle of a large tray and surrounding it with fresh fruit, plus a few fun extras.
For balance, I often add something savory too. If you’re craving a salty contrast, a creamy artichoke dip is a great addition. Some of our favorite pairings include strawberries, blueberries, bananas, apples, kiwi, mango, pineapple, peaches, pears, and honeydew melon, along with cinnamon graham crackers, Nilla wafers, and pretzels for dipping.
And if you want to take things up a notch? Sprinkle a few mini chocolate chips on top of the dip right before serving. Trust me. Kids (and grown-ups) go wild for it.
Tips for Making Fruit Dip

Soften the Cream Cheese First
For the smoothest, fluffiest dip, let the cream cheese sit at room temperature for about 10-15 minutes before mixing. This makes it easier to blend with the marshmallow fluff and ensures there are no lumps.
Keep Your Fruit Looking Fresh
Some fruits, like apples and bananas, tend to brown quickly once sliced. To help prevent that, toss them with a splash of lemon or orange juice before serving. It adds a touch of brightness and keeps your platter looking fresh longer!

Storing This Strawberry Fluff Fruit Dip Recipe
This strawberry fluff fruit dip can be prepared up to 2 days in advance. Simply transfer it to an airtight container or cover it tightly with plastic wrap, then refrigerate until you’re ready to serve. For optimal freshness, avoid dipping fruit directly into the main container, as this can introduce moisture and cause the dip to break down more quickly.
Freezing is not recommended, as the cream cheese base may separate and result in a grainy texture once thawed.

When my kids walk in the door from school and this Strawberry Marshmallow Fruit Dip Recipe is on the counter ready to be dipped into, it is all smiles in our house! It is thick and creamy and oh so easy! All you need is 2 ingredients and 5 minutes!

My family has been making this dip for years! It’s so yummy and always a huge hit.
Isn’t it the best?!
never thought abpout strawberry cream chees. when I make fruit did I do the marshmallow creme, regular cream cheese, some maraschino cherry juice and sometimes chop a few of the cherries into tiny pieces and add them, but definitely gonna try the strawberry cream cheese, sounds amazing.
ohhhh! I’ve never thought about maraschino juice. Genius!
Can I add strawberry glaze to it ? Would that make it TOO runny?
Hi Linda, it may break down the dip a little too much, but if you keep it light like in this cheesecake dip I think you’d be fine. https://ohsweetbasil.com/no-bake-cheesecake-dip-raspberry-sauce-recipe.html
What size containers did you use for the fluff and cream cheese?
oh boy, not sure why it keeps disappearing, 7 oz fluff and 8 oz cream cheese 🙂
i have made this in the past, it is always a HUGE hit. SO Yummy.
I’m in Il. Where do I find strawberry. Cream cheese. They have they have other flavors but that one lol.
Hi. Instead of it coming in a block it comes in a small round bowl with the flavored cream cheeses. In Ohio it is sold at most retailers/grocers. Hope this helps.
A lot of sugar, but for a once in a while treat, I guess I could splurge…
I bring it out with guests because then my portion is small and I didn’t over do it since it is a lot of sugar!
Simple and delicious, doesn’t get much better than that!
