Are Pretzels Gluten-Free?

It depends on the brand.

Such a simple snack yet so hard to keep your hands out of. These cinnamon sugar pretzels with white chocolate drizzle are the perfect snack for parties or just watching a movie or if Mom really needs a darn treat!
Heaven knows you need at least one simple thing for a party so that you aren’t slaving away in the kitchen day and night and during the party. That’s a mistake I’ve made, working in the kitchen and running around making sure things are good to go instead of enjoying myself.
This is an odd recipe as it’s oil that you’re going to stir into the pretzels and then use the microwave to bake it all in there. It works. I promise, but it is a little weird to pour oil all over something you want to eat.
We like to add a little extra cinnamon sugar right before we drizzle the white chocolate, but don’t stress if you forget. They are wonderful either way.
Cinnamon Sugar Pretzels
During the holidays you can easily change up the white chocolate with food coloring to make these even more festive. It’s so easy to do red and green, red, white, and blue, or even Easter colors!

Could you use butter instead of oil?
Sweet Basil
Hi Samantha! I haven’t ever tried it, but I don’t think it will work because of the water content in the butter. It will just evaporate.
Denise
How would you do this with pretzel sticks?
Sweet Basil
Same exact way thought I would really recommend the twists. They have more surface area to hold all that yummy goodness!

How big is a bag of mini pretzels and is it really over 3,000 calories??
Sweet Basil
oh dear, there seems to be a mistake. A bag is 16 ounces.

Are you sure a serving size is over 3,000 calories?
Andrea
I had trouble with the white chocolate falling off once cooled. Any suggestions?
Sweet Basil
Hi Andrea, what kind of white chocolate did you use and did you allow the oil to be completely absorbed and dry before doing the white chocolate?
PAM
Can you bake these in the oven? I have a super small microwave.
If so what temp and how long would you suggest?
Thanks Pam

Made these for work. I was a bit lazy about the white chocolate and ended up doing a glaze more than a drizzle but they have been very popular. Thanks for a great idea!
Sweet Basil
oh I bet a glaze was still awesome! Love that idea!
