A small list of ingredients, one slow cooker and you’ve got yourself a cheesy slow cooker sausage dip! We use Marzetti Ranch dip to add more flavor!
This post is sponsored by Marzetti but all opinions remain our own.

When Cade and I first got married we were all about running around to make the holidays special for each other. Then we had kids and our efforts tripled. We want to find the right gifts, start fantastic traditions and make everything perfectly special. It didn’t take long for us to crash and burn.

We realized we were running ourselves ragged and by the time the holidays were over we hadn’t done a lot of just being together. Our errands were taking time away from the family and our holiday recipes were so long and complicated we were spending more time shooing people out of the kitchen than putting our arms around each other and making memories.

One of the first things we ditched was the recipes. Sure we still have some favorites that we make but we looked for ways to simplify. We now do a slow cooker dip, veggies with Marzetti dips and fruits with our Strawberry Fluff Dip as a big dip bar for our game night! Every year we buy a new game for the whole family. Santa delivers the game Christmas morning and we can spend more time making memories, not stress.

This cheesy slow cooker sausage dip is one we learned years ago from a friend but there’s a hefty list of ingredients as you’re supposed to make your own ranch like sauce to add to the recipe. On a whim I bought Marzetti ranch dip and it actually tastes better than the other recipe because its texture is thick and creamy and it’s packed full of flavor that’s fresh and doesn’t taste like a bunch of dried spices as our old recipe did.

Cheesy Slow Cooker Sausage Dip
We just brown up some sausage, then add Marzetti Ranch Dip, tomatoes, cream cheese, and cheese in a slow cooker and set it, then forget it. It only has to cook on low for about 3 hours, but we keep it on warm and serve it right in the slow cooker with a little salt and pepper to taste.

Hi! I am making this for a family get together. What brand of American cheese do you use? Thank you!

Hi Shar! Just Kraft works great! Any brand should work great.

This looks fantastic! Is a regular-sized crockpot too big, or would it work in a mini crockpot? Thanks!
Sweet Basil
Either size would work!

I like ranch on my burgers, but the stuff in the jar is too thin, so it makes a soggy mess of the bun. I use Marzetti dips because like you mentioned, it is thinker, but still has a creamy texture.

This sounds like a really neat variation on one I make — we use a block of Velveeta, 1 can of Rotel and 1 pound of hot Italian sausage (browned)… throw it all in the slow cooker and YUM! I love it on Ruffles…. everyone else on tortilla chips…. I’m always looking for fun new ones to try so this will definitely be on my list! Thanks for sharing it
